1. Acceptance

By installing or using RankingRider for Ecwid (the "App"), you ("you", the "Merchant") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The App is provided by Kaestria ("we", "us"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the App.

2. Description of the Service

The App is a hosted SaaS embedded inside the Ecwid Control Panel. It uses third-party AI models (Google Gemini) to generate SEO content — product titles, meta descriptions, short and long descriptions, keywords — and optionally publishes that content back to your Ecwid catalog via the Ecwid REST API v3 upon your explicit request.

3. Subscription Plans & Billing

The App is offered under three tiers:

  • Free: a limited number of optimizations per month at no cost.
  • Basic: a recurring monthly subscription charged via Ecwid Native Billing.
  • Premium: a one-shot upgrade fee charged immediately via Ecwid Native Billing; the upgraded tier remains active for one (1) calendar month from the date of charge, after which it automatically reverts to Basic (or Free if no active Basic subscription).

All billing is processed by Ecwid on our behalf. Payment disputes, chargebacks, and refund requests are governed by Ecwid's billing policies. We may, at our discretion, issue partial or full goodwill refunds — contact contact@rankingrider.com.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the App to generate content that violates applicable law, intellectual property rights, or third-party rights.
  • Use the App to generate spam, deceptive content, or content that misrepresents the nature of your products.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent any technical limitation of the App, including plan limits.
  • Use the App in any way that would impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or Ecwid's.

We may suspend or terminate access to the App without notice if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.

5. AI-Generated Content

The AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors, omissions, or factual inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing every output before publishing it to your store or using it in your marketing. We do not warrant that AI-generated SEO content will improve your search ranking, conversion rate, or sales.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its source code, design, branding, and documentation, is the exclusive property of Kaestria. You retain full ownership of your product data and of the AI-generated content once published to your Ecwid store.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability. We do not warrant that the App will be free from defects, that AI-generated content will meet your expectations, or that publishing to Ecwid will always succeed (Ecwid API outages, rate limits, or schema changes may cause transient failures).

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of sales, loss of search ranking, or business interruption.

9. Termination

You may terminate these terms at any time by uninstalling the App from your Ecwid Control Panel. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of the current billing period. Upon uninstall, your data is retained per §6 of our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email. Continued use of the App after the "Last Updated" date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Saint-Denis de La Réunion, France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
